What we keep, and why

Without an account

Your progress stays in this browser’s storage and never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it, so download a backup from Stats now and then.

With an account

• Account details: your name, your email and a scrypt hash of your password. The password itself is never stored.
• Your progress: settings, ticks, timers, mistakes, contests and the rest of what you see in the app. It is stored so you can use more than one device.
• Premium: the UPI transaction ID you send when paying, your premium dates and any solutions you save in the vault.
• Sign-in sessions: a random cookie named rtv_s, which is needed to keep you signed in. Only a hash of it is stored on the server. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Codeforces and other sites

When you add a Codeforces handle, your browser asks the public Codeforces API for your submissions and rating. For the weak-spot report, the server makes that request for you. Links to Codeforces, LeetCode, CSES, USACO Guide, AtCoder and YouTube take you to those sites, and their own policies apply there.

Who can see it

Admins who run this site can see your name, email, premium status and payment references, so they can check payments and help with forgotten passwords. To help when something looks wrong, an admin can also open a read-only view of your progress; each view is recorded in the admin log. Your data is not sold or shared with anyone else.

The leaderboard

Signed-in users see a leaderboard with your name, your Codeforces handle and rating (read from Codeforces), the number of units you've finished, your streak and the day you were last active. Your email is never shown. To leave the board, turn off Show me on the leaderboard in Stats → Settings.

Deleting it

Account → Delete account removes your account, your progress and your saved solutions from the server straight away. Server backups made before that are overwritten on the backup schedule.
