Road to Violet is made by two computer science students at IIT BHU. Like a two-source BFS, we started from different ends and met in the middle.

The idea is our own
We wanted one place that plans a real day of competitive programming around the contests you actually enter. The road, the phases and the rules for adapting it come from our own training.

We picked the resources
Every lesson, video and problem list is one we chose ourselves: Luv’s CP course, CodeWithHarry, freeCodeCamp, Bro Code and WilliamFiset for videos; USACO Guide, CP-Algorithms and learncpp.com for reading; Codeforces, CSES, LeetCode and AtCoder for problems.

We built the site with Claude, Anthropic’s AI model, as our pair programmer, from the planner and the graphics to the server and its tests.
